HOW TO PLAY:

Champions On Ice contains five levels. Each level is split into two sections.

The first section requires you to skate around the ice rink collecting markers, way points and specials against the clock. You will notice that your speed on the ice is very slow starting out. As you complete levels you will receive points of which then you can spend to improve your speed.

To pass the first stage of skating around the ice you must collect at least 60% or more of the markers within the time available, and you are also required to collect the markers in order. By collecting the waypoints on your way around the ice will produce an ice skating move at random which will improve your score for this section. And finally collecting the special icons on the floor and then selecting an ice skating move from the pop out menu which will appear on the right will increase the number of moves you get to attempt in the second section (discussed below), thus the chance to receive a much higher overall score for the current level.

In the second section of the level you are required to complete gestures on screen as the arrow sequence scrolls into view. For example, if the first arrow is facing in the up direction, simply slide your thumb in an upwards motion on the screen. Complete this in sequence for each arrow before they disappear, and you will successfully complete the ice skating move for that sequence. Each sequence you get correct will add another five arrows and the time you have available to complete the sequence will decrease. There is also pinch graphics that will be generated in the arrow sequence. Here you are required to pinch in, or pinch out with 2 fingers (preferably your two thumbs for ease of use) on the screen. Each time you complete an arrow gesture correctly, you will hear a ping sound for feedback, if you do not hear a sound, keep trying until you complete the current arrow gesture correctly.
